ERC signs Joachim Ramoser
ERC Ingolstadt has agreed on a contract with Joachim Ramoser. The 22-year old forward played for HC Bolzano Foxes (EBEL) last season.
Ramoser was born and raised in South Tyrol and came to Germany at the age of 13 years. He ran through the hockey academies of Mannheim, Bad Nauheim, Berlin and Salzburg. In his first season on senior level (2015/16) he won the championship in DEL with Red Bull Munich. ERC-sportdirector Larry Mitchell "has had a good impression" of Ramoser in the duels with Munich. He describes him as a "good skater with great working effort".
Ramoser suffered from injuries in last season and played in two games only for Bolzano where he went to during the season. "That was frustrating", says Ramoser who had a some weeks ago and will be in rehab until fall. "I am feeling better and we are heading forward. I am happy to join ERC Ingolstadt. We already were in negotiations two years ago and it is nice it has worked out now."
"Joachim had bad luck last season", says ERC-coach Tommy Samuelsson. "We know though what he is able to. He is powerful on the ice, a hard worker with good skating skills. The first game of the season comes too early for him but we will give him the time to come back and attack in winter for ERC Ingolstadt."
Joachim Ramoser will dress the panther jersey with number 47.
