Signing: Ryan Garbutt

ERC Ingolstadt is delighted to announce the signing of forward Ryan Garbutt. The 33-year old native from Winnipeg, Canada, played in the Russian-dominated KHL in the past season and has agreed on a contract for the season 2018/19. Between 2011 and 2017, Garbutt played in 318 games (43 goals, 48 assists) for the NHL-teams Dallas Stars, Anaheim Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks.
The 183cm tall and 87kg heavy forward is known for gritty kind of game and his good skating. Garbutt has experience in playing all forward positions. He will join the team on Friday, coming to ERC Ingolstadt's training camp in Latsch (South Tyrol / Italy) where the international tournament VinschgauCup will be held this weekend.
