Contract: Jordan George

ERC Ingolstadt and Jordan George enter into an agreement. The 27-year old forward joins the Panthers after two years with Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven. George, a Madison (Wisconsin) native, is a speedy skater with technical skills. He says: "Ingolstadt is the right fit for me. ERC has a history of finishing Top-6. I like to be part of a winning culture."

George, who has both the US-American and the German passport, crossed the ocean straight after his years in college. He gave his debut in European hockey for Rosenborg Trondheim. In two years in Norway and one season in Denmark, the smaller playmaker finished one time number two and twice number one in his team's scoring list. In 2016, the Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven (DEL) signed George. "We finished better than a lot of people expected qualifying in both years for the playoffs."

ERC-coach Doug Shedden can rely on a broader bench this season offering him options in case of injuries. There will be competition for the spots in the scoring lines, says Larry Mitchell, Sports Director of ERC Ingolstadt.
