Injury report: Laliberte
John Laliberte, captain and first-line-wing from ERC Ingolstadt, has suffered from a leg-injury. An opponent player fell on Laliberte`s leg in the crunch-time of Friday nights game against Grizzlys Wolfsburg (2:3). Team doctor Dr. Olaf Büttner and Dr. Michael Wenzl undertook a surgery in Klinikum Ingolstadt. Dr. Büttner says, Laliberte will be out for about two months.
Panthers-prospect Christoph Kiefersauer was called up from partner Club ESV Kaufbeuren where he played the last games. "Christoph has had a very good preparation with us and helped Kaufbeuren to a great start into the season", says Jiri Ehrenberger, director sports of ERCI. "Christoph will give his debut in DEL on Sunday night versus Iserlohn Roosters."
