Promotion/Relegation between DEL and DEL2

The German pro-hockey returns to the European tradition of promotion/relegation in 2020/21. This is the decision of the chairmen of DEL and DEL2. The last promotion/relegation in German pro-hockey was in 2005/06. The agreement will be signed soon.

"After this long period, we are delighted to have an interlinking between the two leagues. We expect an impetus for German hockey", says Jürgen Arnold, head of the supervisory board of DEL.
