Promotion/relegation still to be determined

The reintroduction of promotion and relegation in German pro-hockey continues to be determined. Six clubs from DEL2 have submitted their documents before March 31 2017 to Bird&Bird LLP which checked them for details. The result is that the precondition fixed in the contract between DEL2 and DEL towards promotion/relegation have not been fullfiled by not all of the six candidates. The next date for application, for promotion/relegation in 2019/20, is March 31 2018.
