Huge euphoria on German team

The German nationalteam is ready to start into the quarterfinals. The team around ERC Ingolstadt's goalie Timo Pielmeier face host Russia in Moscow tonight (7.15, CET). ERC Ingolstadt supports the public screening in the beer garden "Mo - Neue Galerie" next to Kreuztor. There will be a lottery with special prices, e.g. as stick of ERC's recordscorer Thomas Greilinger.

The euphoria on the German team is huge. The broadcaster Sport1 has published the TV ratings that were the channel's best since 2011. Media reports a lot on the team. Today, however, the opponent is a tough one. Russia is not only the host of the IIHF Worlds but also record winner and has stars like "The great 8" Alexander Ovechkin in its roster.

Artemi Panarin is Russia's shooting star and second best scorer of the IIHF Worlds, only behind his fellow countryman Vadim Shipachyov (13 points in 7 games).
