New pro-referee named

André Schrader has been announced as new pro-referee in Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). The 27-year old Sports cientist from Bochum follows on Lars Brüggemann who will be head of the referee department starting on June 1st.

Schrader started as a referee in the age of 16. He has already been involved in 5 DEL-finals, the Champions Hockey League, five IIHF top-divison World Championships and the Olympic Games 2014.

Schrader will be one of three pro-referees in DEL. Daniel Piechaczek and Gordon Schukies continue in their job for another season.
