"Panther of the Month"
The fans have decided: After a close race with burning hot Danny Irmen (also nominated as DEL-player of the month), Thomas Pielmeier has been voted as "Panther of the Month October". Hans Fischer, commentator for Radio IN, handed him the award. "Thank you, fans", says the forward, "I am very proud."
Pielmeier made the fans look with the fastest DEL-goal in ERC-history (7.8 seconds). The blue-collar center has also created emotions with an injury, caused by an incorrect check of an opponent player. He has toiled for his comeback in "Reha-Zentrum Passauer Wolf" and could come back in the Friday-night home game versus Düsseldorf (7.30 pm, Saturn Arena).
