Panthers sign Danny Irmen

ERC Ingolstadt has signed Danny Irmen. The Fargo / North Dakota native has played for Hockey Thurgau (Switzerland) in the last two seasons. Director sports Jiri Ehrenberger says: "With Danny, a fast forward in the best age for a hockey player joins us."
30-year old Irmen (183cm, 86kg) is planed to take a spot on the wing. Ehrenberger scouted Irmen for quite a while. When Thurgau signalized to let Irmen out of the contract, the player and ERCI came together in a short time. Ehrenberger: "It was important for me that Danny wanted to join us right away."
Irmen, regarding his time in Europe, has scored more than 30 points every season with an average of 1 point per game. "He also works for the team and knows how to defend", says Ehrenberger. "We have signed a good man." Danny Irmen, a former Gopher, will play for the Panthers with the jersey #19.
