Panthers save home advantage
ERC Ingolstadt has home advantage in playoff quarterfinal. The Panthers saved it with a 4:3 win after shoot-out in Iserlohn. Jared Ross scored the game winner versus the Roosters.
Derek Hahn with a shorthander gave the ERC the lead (15.) but in the same powerplay, Iserlohn's Ryan Button made it one-all. Seconds later, Brooks Macek scored Iserlohn's second goal.
Although the Panthers had the better second period, it was Iserlohn to run to 3:1 (goal by Chris Connolly, 30.). The Panthers came back with confidence and passion: Brandon Buck (36.) and Ryan MacMurchy nine seconds before the end of the regular time helped Ingolstadt into extra time and shootout. Ross with two goals saved two points for Ingolstadt.
On Sunday, 2.30 p.m., the Panthers host Hamburg Freezers for a fight for 3rd place. After that, we celebrate a big playoff-party. Save your ticket: www.erc-ingolstadt.de/tickets
