Vinschgau Cup: Schedule
The schedule for VinschgauCup 2018 has been announced. Here is the time table for the preparation tournament in Laces, South Tyrol:
Friday, August 24 2018 | 8pm | ERC Ingolstadt – Bolzano Foxes
Saturday, August 25 2018 | 5pm | Kölner Haie – KAC Klagenfurt
Sunday, August 26 2018 | 2pm | Bolzano Foxes – Kölner Haie
Sunday, August 26 2018 | 6pm | KAC Klagenfurt – ERC Ingolstadt
As requested by two teams, the organizing comitee has decided that there are no battles between teams from the same league.
Modus operandi
Champion of VinschgauCup 2018 will be the team two collect the most points in its two games (win after 60min = 3 points; win in overtime or shootout = 2 points; loss in overtime or shootout = 1 point). In case there are two or more teams even in points the positioning follows
1) the goal difference.
2) most shot goals.
3) most shootout goals. There will be a shootout after both games on Sunday with 5 shooters per team. That should be a nice practice for the players and a fun thing for the fans to watch. The score in those shootouts only counts in case that there would not be any decision so far in positioning.
4) by drawing lots.
