Contract extension: Fabian Dahlem

ERC Ingolstadt and coach Fabian Dahlem extend their contract for another season.

The 52-year old Rosenheim, Upper Bavaria, native has 17 years of coaching experience (head, assistant, goalie). Last season, he worked with Ingolstadt's goalies Timo Pielmeier and Jochen Reimer who finished the year with together seven shutouts. In 2018/19, Dahlem will also help stronger as an assistant coach to head coach Doug Shedden than he did last season. Plus, he will work with the goalies from ERC's youth project Young Panthers.

The relation between Dahlem and Ingolstadt roots in 1998 when he joined the team as goalie and ended his career three years later as second league champion. He came back to Ingolstadt as an assistant coach in 2003 short term. After years as assistant and head coach, Dahlem joined the Panthers again in 2017.
