Contract extension: Doug Shedden

ERC Ingolstadt and head coach Doug Shedden have agreed on extending the contract until 2019. Since the 56-year old Canadian took over the Panthers' bench, Ingolstadt climbed with a 2 points a game average in the standings from 11th to 4th spot. Sports Director Larry Mitchell says: "Doug has done a great job. We played very good hockey and qualified directly for the playoff quarterfinals."

"I have liked what's going on since if've been here. The players have worked really hard", says Shedden who explains he wants to be part of a team which has the chance of winning.
